The Unified Sports Program is offering New England an opportunity to enjoy the up and coming country/rock band, Emerson Drive – who in the past year have received 4 CCMA Awards, 2 Inspirational Country Music Awards, 2 CMA Award nominations, a Campus Activities Magazine Award for live performance, a GRAMMY nomination and most recently two ACM Awards nominations for “Top Vocal Group of The Year” and “Song of the Year” for their #1 HIT “Moments”. On May 28th Emerson Drive is coming to the Basketball Hall of Fame to perform a concert to raise money for the Unified Sports Program. Tickets include entry into the Hall after 4:30pm to tour the exhibits. Frank Manzi opens at 6:00pm, Emerson Drive starts at 7:00pm.

Unified Sports Program
USP’s main goal is to teach sports to children with disabilities alongside their friends and classmates or as their motto states- ‘Social Inclusion through Sports.’ The program gives disabled children the opportunity to reach physical and personal goals they would have never before thought possible. The program shows typical kids that having friends who are different than them is a great thing. All kids and adults in life are different….it is one of the most important steps in establishing values and goals in children. It is unfortunate that there is so much “bullying” in schools and we are hoping to make a difference by having children of all abilities interact through social inclusion at an early age.
